(Senfry’s Father-Sir Turald Talbot-Polite, skilled fighter, operate vigilance, attempt discretion, Knighted at 26. Died at 52, two years ago. Polite, disciplined a very skilled soldier who kept his master’s secrets and served him well as a personal bodyguard. Loyalty and service were his mottos.
Senfry’s mother-Philomena-World weary, clumsy, compose intelligence, oppress lies. married Turald at age 29, died at 55, two years ago. A very intelligent woman, very honest, aggressively slow. Daughter of another landless lord, had hoped to move up, but never did. Weary from dashed dreams.
Gustav-Eldest brother is 27 (21+d6), his wife’s name is Jozeline, a daughter names Sophie age 4 (Sir Gustav, Knight Errant, tall, patient, discourages dissonance and disruption. An earnest, hard working noble hoping to move up one day, and maintain the family’s legacy and perhaps gain lordship of one of Baron Cornely’s villages)
Lucette-Elder sister 27 (21+d8)-immaculately groomed, can fix anything, comprehend contraband, record peace. Lucette eagerly hopes for a good marriage and as a household maid to Lady Conrely, often mends her clothing and bedding. She is an excellent peace keeper and knows many secrets, many illicit dealings within her master’s house.
Suzonne-Younger of the sisters 26(21+d6)-Charismatic (charming) missing teeth, oblivious, complete the forsaken, complete disbelief. Susonne is utterly clueless but in a delightfully charming way. She has largely given up on a good marriage (having lost a few teeth in a fight with a fellow lady she offended has marred her appearance somewhat), but she is learning to be content with…nothingness. She serves in Lady Carvely’s household as a lady in waiting, which she believes to be her ultimate fate…ever waiting for nothing.
Senfry-17+d6=age 21 for Senfry Talbot
Andre-Younger brother is 18 (21-d6)-Stern, crooked nose, suppress wealth, depress charity-Andre has soured on the idea of ever regaining the family’s status. He carefully hoards what little money he has, and is quite stingy with it. He has not yet found a placement with any noble house, nor has he earned his spurs. He hopes to persuade Lucette to share some of what she knows about their patron’s illicit dealings in the hopes of using that to leverage some real wealth for the house.
One hundred ten Duke Talbot ruled the southeastern coast of Norgard, in land that is now ruled by Zar Vekhul. As hobgoblins overthrew the kingdom, survivors of his house fled beyond the Westwall, where through ill fortune and disaster, the family slowly fell into near penniless obscurity. All that remains of the line are three great great grandsons, Gustave, Senfry and Andre. And two great great granddaughters, Lucesse and Suzonne, plus Gustav’s wife Jozeline, and his daughter, the four year old Sophie.
Sir Gustav works in the service of Baron Conrely on the southern end of what is left of Norgard, hoping to earn lordship of a village in exchange for the continuous devoted service of his family, as his father had hoped, and his grandfather as well for other lords. His sisters also work in the household, attending the baroness and courtly functions. Andre, the younger brother, is still associated with the house, but has not yet found a proper place having just come of age.
Senfry, after a couple of years working as a scout Baron Conrely’s army realized a more direct path to wealth and restoration of the family’s name is required, and has gone across the sea to the west. Before that, he angered a fellow scout, a man named Suso Argen, with whom he got into an argument over whether to return some goods recovered from a gang of bandits to the merchant, whose mark was clearly on the crates, or to pawn the goods in town. Suso voted for keeping the loot. Senfry handed everything over.
